Soooooo many tablets have been seen so far at CES

It's like Netbooks all over again LOL.

No doubt we will see Acer come out with a bewildering array of permutations of the same thing with new model numbers/minor spec changes as they did with the Aspires

There will be flocks of Honeycomb tablets released in the next few months.

Hardware will be more or less the same, with small differences in build ( tegra soc, 5 mp back cam 1-2 mp front, different ram and storage...)

I think most important will be the software support, how different companies will port the software and release future updates to enhance compatibility.

At the moment most tablets are behind with HD playback and generally in media handling functionalities. this will change, and the company which does the software best, will win the most customers...

It will be really interesting when HTC gets into the game...

Probably their tablet will be introduced in Barcelona next month @ MWC

The Motorola tablet looks like a winner right now.

They work really close with Google, and this hopefully means good port of Honeycomb....

Hi everyone,

Have been watching this also. In particular the Notion Ink Adam progress. Engadget have a review on this android tablet, being aired at CES.

I pre-ordered one. Hoping when it arrives it will be all the hype says it is

They do look amazing, but there going to be hard to get hold for a while... Maybe even harder than the vega.

It is the Pixel QI display that really appeals to me about the Adam. Having a s*** hot Android tab, which is also a proper Kindle style eReader would be flipping ace.

I must say though I am vaguely skeptical about:-

a) If the Pixel QI display is all it is cracked up to be

and

 Can Notion Ink really deliver lots of these tablets. Spesh as the "big boys" are clearly gonna flood the maket post CES...

No, will keep my vega, give it to my son, and BTW if you look at the engadget CES review with the pixelq screen on the Adam, in bright las vegas sun, then you will be convinced.

Obtaining the adam may be an issue for those who didn't preorder, time will tell.

Well my Vega will do me for the time being. But that video certainly does make it look the business...

Id assume its due to all the extra stuff they've put in over the top. At the end of the day track athletes shave there head they dont grow afros .
