Guest Loki86 Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 In the list of the custom rom i didn't understand a thing, custom rom of android 2.1 have a2sd while custom rom of android 2.2 haven't it how can i install app to sd in froyo? what partions must have the sd card?
Guest Rotmann Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 (edited) Use the search function, this has been discussed over and over. The simplest is to make a single FAT32 partition on the whole card and with move2sd enabler from Market you can move them automatically. Do not move widgets, keyboards and live wallpapers though. Guest sumdumguy Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 I thought it wasn't mentioned as an extra because froyo has ext2 a2sd built in.
Guest Loki86 Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 So i make same sd partition of eclair in froyo sd card 2gb: 512mb ext2 - 1,5 gb fat32 froyo recognise ext partition automatically without install other programs?
Guest Simon O Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 So i make same sd partition of eclair in froyo sd card 2gb: 512mb ext2 - 1,5 gb fat32 froyo recognise ext partition automatically without install other programs? Bit of confusion going on here  Froyo has it's own method called Apps2FAT. This stores apps on the fat partition of the SD card, but it can be slow. Not all apps support this so you have to use Move2SD enabler to move all apps. Froyo can have the old ext Apps2SD. FLB-Froyo has it and so does MCR.
