Guest BSAB Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 Got the Vega a couple days ago and love it to bits, but the input does my head in sometimes. I see now that it's a bad idea to do, well, ANYTHING when the Vega is being charged since it becomes over responsive, but even with it unplugged i get the random double clicks, or trying to scroll and the damn thing just ends up clicking 3 levels deep into the settings. I just noticed now that it only (maybe mostly?) happens when I use my index fingers, but seems to be fine when I use my thumbs. Am i just imagining things here, or is this some kind of feature to remind us how lucky we have to have flexible thumbs? (and I do have Paul's Rom running with the extra performance pack, btw)
Guest QLF Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 yes, i noticed the same thing. Prob to do with a larger part of your finger being in contact with the screen at any one time. It doesn't seem to make a difference in the top half of the screen, but the bottom left and right corners seem to be where this works. pretty handy really, as having large hands myself, I mostly use my thumbs for bottom and sides, and only use index finger for the top and middle. Possibly why i haven't seen any double typing using the keyboard now that I have Paul's latest ROM and PP installed
