Dialer vibrate issue, can anyone recommend a better one?

hi all

i,m using r8: de-orangeated ROM for ZTE Blade, the dialer doesnt seem to vibrate on key press, i have gone through all the options and anything that relates to vibrate is turned on:

- haptic feedback

- touch pal key press vibration

- android vibrate on key press

has anyone else experienced this issue and have their dialler vibrate when used to dial or pressed?

i downloaded touchpal dialer and it seems to be fine, can someone point me out to a better dialer or know how to fix the issue please?

is it possible to get HTC sense IME keyboard?
