Phone and bluetooth headset as a wireless microphone

Hello I have just made the move from windows mobile to android and I have a question. Can you use a bluetooth headset paired to your phone and plug that phone into a big speaker so as to use the headset/phone as a wireless microphone. This seems like a very simple idea but can it be done and what software is required? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
