Guest b17vic Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 (edited) If I understand correctly even if I root my HTC Legend I still don't have total controll over the device, some things will still elude me. Also with this being my first tampering about with the Android os and handset I don't want to ruin it. So with all that in mind in your opinion(s) what is the easiest mobile device with Android and the other technical relevant details( version, build and so on) that can be rooted with most controll available to date? Thank you for reading my question. *EDIT* I've been trawling the internet to find some kind of answer but not even a suggestion can I find. Edited January 8, 2011 by b17vic
Guest b17vic Posted January 9, 2011 Report Posted January 9, 2011 Perhaps I asked the wrong question?
Guest b17vic Posted January 9, 2011 Report Posted January 9, 2011 Hhhhhmmmmmmmmmmm. . . unanswerable question I guess.
Guest b17vic Posted January 9, 2011 Report Posted January 9, 2011 Still can't find the answer. . . . .
Guest super san francisco Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 I'd say a developers phone, such as the G1(wouldn't recommend it though...oooooold) or the nexus 1. As far as I'm concerned, try an Orange San Francisco / ZTE Blade. It's got an open bootloader and is rooted pretty easily. Besides, the community customizing the Phone huge, just check out the sub forum here at modaco's... Apart from easy root i'd go with it for the incredible price:) hope that i could help you.
