Individual Ringtones

Hi all

I am trying to set a different ringtone for individual users, i am using the Contact/Menu/Options/Ringtone/Choose ringtone

but when i choose the ringtone and click ok it goes back a screen and says "ringtone default"

No matter how many times i try it always reverts to default

Any help would be appreciated.

I am using Pauls alpha3 2.2 rom

Search Pauls thread ... I have the same problem ... It would be nice to use other ringtones/alarms etc. without having to install an extra app :D

But until its implemented, we can use "Rings extendend" from market :P

Welcome to the Forum.

This is not a general problem. I believe it may be specific to the experimental ("alpha") rom you are running.

Not a problem on, for example, Swedish Snow that is on my phone for now.

Yeh i was presuming it was a rom specific problem as ive tried 2 suggested apps and neither do the trick,
