This has been mentioned before, it's not a fix but a workaround.

The 2.2 ROMs like the Japanese Jellyfish reconnect automatically so this isn't needed for them.

mine used to drop out all the time in standby but there is a hidden advanced menu under wifi settings called wifi sleep policy

tick it and wifi doesnt sleep when your phone does. on mine wifi is 100% and never drops connection anymore.

i wonder how many with the wifi issue have this box unticked as it is hidden unless you hit the menu button in settings.

settings - wireless & networks - wifi settings - menu button (on phone) - advanced - wifi sleep policy - select never... exit.

now it wont drop when your phone sleeps.

At the original Orange Firmware, it doesn't work for me..

but i think it work with the FFRLS5, i have no problems any more. i've totally forget this setting! thank you
