Guest Nik Louch Posted January 7, 2011 Report Posted January 7, 2011 I just got a Vega and am loving it... However, some apps seem to not understand which way up the device is. One example is Picasa Tool Pro... All the proper "Android style menu's" in the settings are fine, they orient themselves to the device's rotation. But the main screen, etc is just upside down. Anyone offer any insight as to why?

Anyone offer any insight as to why? Same issue as most of the accelerometer problems, it isnt quite calibrated correctly. I have had the same issue with an app called Floating Image, luckily that app has a force rotation setting. My only advice, is to hold the vega upside down, launch the app, then flick on the hard screen lock button on the vega itself and then turn it the riggt way round again and the app should now be the right way up :D
Guest Nik Louch Posted January 8, 2011 Report Posted January 8, 2011 Nope it's not that same issue I'm afraid. Eg, the app mentioned (Picasa Tool Pro) was upside down. If I rotated the device 180, it was the right way up, seemed to be ignoring rotation.
Guest Nik Louch Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 Just noticed it does it with the Facebook app... All news feeds, etc are fine, but when I go to the main Facebook page (where it's a grid of icons for chat, updates, groups, photos, etc), that is upsidedown!
