Guest jayr0m3 Posted January 8, 2011 Report Posted January 8, 2011 Hi! AVG Antivirus says my Phone is rooted but i havent done anything to it except unlocking the simlock with the webcode... why is that ? I did buy the ZTE Blade in Budapest at T-Mobile Shop (seal was not damaged). i work here since 2 months but i am german just you know so i dont speak hungarian well :D Build : TM_P729TV1.0.0B02 Firmwareversion2.1-update1 System memory : 414,79M displayed
Guest Arr Too Posted January 8, 2011 Report Posted January 8, 2011 Most "official" ROMs also seem to be rooted, and some even have /system mounted as writable. This is probably a bit of slackness on ZTE's part -- let's hope a little slackness remains when we find ourselves running an Android version that doesn't have a root exploit available!
Guest StevenHarperUK Posted January 8, 2011 Report Posted January 8, 2011 I don't think Step have any interest in making the blade root proof Actually I believe that they leave it possible as they know the market Phones that are customiseable have a much longer life span
