Guest gmc007 Posted January 8, 2011 Report Posted January 8, 2011 i have a problem when i got my phone a month ago i made a gmail account and i cant remember what i set my password as is there a way i can find my saved password from the phone?

Here is gmail's lost password or something. thanks i have tried that link last week but i think i entered the recovery email in wrong so im not getting an email from it so tried the other way but have heard nothing back i would really like to keep this gmail account and its all that is stopping me from updating my rom now

I suppose that's possible, but it's rather on the silly side -- how are they to know you haven't just picked up the phone in a pub? And frankly if you could easily extract a Google password from an Android phone then I doubt many people would consider using them. well i did think i entered the recovery email right but im not getting any emails from google so im guessing i entered it wrong i had just got the phone and was not used to the on screen keyboard as i had a nokia n95 for the past 3 years oh well i guess if it cant be done il have to make a new account is there an easy way to save my contacts (saved to the gmail account) before i flash a rom so i don't have to enter them all back in manually?
