Strange wifi behavior

Hi everybody i hope you can help me with this...

The situation is this:

When using android 1.5 wifi worked fine...

When installed 2.1 from Venezuela (i need this one to be able to use 3G) wifi wouldn´t connect to any network. Wifi is on but when tries to connect it can´t and ends disconnected again.

When installed 2.1 from UK it worked fine.

Installed FLB MOD (1.5, 1.6 and 1.7) it worked fine again.

Installed CM6 0.4 and AIO V5 it had same issue than with 2.1.

I tried erasing wpa_supplicant.conf in /data/misc/wifi then rebooted but it didn´t worked.

For what i could see there are differents configurations of Wifi between the differents roms/mods.

This is what i mean:

In FLBMOD the archives look like this:

/etc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf

update_config=1

ctrl_interface=DIR=/data/misc/wpa_supplicant GROUP=system

/data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf

ctrl_interface=DIR=/data/misc/wpa_supplicant GROUP=system

update_config=1

And the folder /data/misc/wifi/sockets had this to archives that i couldn´t open:

wpa_ctrl_1342-0

wpa_ctrl_1342-1

Instead CM6:

/etc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf

update_config=1

ctrl_interface=DIR=/data/system/wpa_supplicant GROUP=wifi (/data/system/wpa_supplicant is empty)

/data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf

ctrl_interface=DIR=/data/system/wpa_supplicant GROUP=wifi (/data/system/wpa_supplicant is empty)

update_config=1

And the folder /data/misc/wifi/sockets is empty.

If you need any more info please just ask for it.

Please help me if you can i don´t know what else i can do to make this works and i don´t want go back to FLB i´m really happy with Froyo!!

Wipe and try again with aio v5 or go back to 2.1uk then flash again aio v5 .give a feedback

Edit: btw someone solved a problem of wifi by restoring with titanium backup the settings of 2.1.

I can´t use 2.1 UK that way i lose 3G (i'm from argentina).

I just read what NEO did but to do that i have to reinstall again everything because i don´t have a titanium backup made.

As soon as i have a little time i´ll try it to see if that works.

Well tried de titanium backup method but it didn´t work....i´m completely lost. Don´t know what else to try...

I had a problem when I tried to restore my WPA-Settings with Titanium Backup. I made a backup from my 2.1 ROM and restored it in the new 2.2 v5 ROM here.

The problem was, that the wpa_supplicant.conf is now diffrent and has also different access rights in the ROMs.
