Guest maleficum Posted January 9, 2011 Report Posted January 9, 2011 Hello! I just got my very first Android phone (ZTE San Francisco - Blade) couple of weeks ago, and since them I am in search for a good SIP client. I have 2 SIP accounts so I need a client that supports multiple SIP accounts. I tried Sipdroid, nimbuzz, fring, and some others I saw on the market. With all of them the calls were only through the speaker and I'd prefer speaking through internal earphone of the phone, only with fring it was possible however it doesn't support multiple accounts and the sound quality is really terrible. and for Sipdroid first issue is again calls only through speaker and even though I could enter multiple accounts it didn't give me the option of selecting the account I want to use for a particular call, I only used account 1. also I really didn't like the interface. So basically what I'm looking for is: 1. multiple account support 2. option to choose between accounts before the call 3. no need for dialer integration, I don't mind using the client app for making calls 4. calls through internal earpiece/microphone 5. good sound quality 6. working both on WiFi and 3G does this client exist?
Guest GreenTurbo Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 I use Acrobits which I first used free in beta form. Can't remember if it uses the ear piece but i have found it very good.. http://www.acrobits.cz/28/acrobits-softphone-for-android
