I am looking to update from 2.5.0.9 to recovery_clockwork_2.5.1.3_blade_ext3.img.zip. Is it possible to update the Clockwork recovery through the existing program?? If so, how??

It completely passed over me that you can update Clockwork from within clockwork - how did I miss that

Last time I Unzipped your Zip and used Fastboot

I assume this means you can swap to RA_recovery with exactly the same technique?

EDIT: I see that you only have a .img file attached to your post

Any chance of a Signed ZIp also?

Yeah you can install clockwork with RA, and RA with clockwork, etc, its just a partition its writting...

Unfortunately you can attach upto 4.88MB to a post, so I can only post 1 or the other...

I'm also about to update to Seb's 2.5.1.8 recovery before moving to a 2.2 ROM but I see two zip files in the attachment. What's the difference?

-recovery-clockwork-2.5.1.8-blade-update_signed.zip 3.6Mb

-recovery-clockwork-2.5.1.8-update_signed.zip 3.7Mb

Also it's been a while since I used the recovery module, is there a menu option to upgrade with the zip or just navigate to the zip?

Thanks,

OK, thanks Seb for sorting out the update files. I now have the correct one.

You say, install in "in the usual way" but in the recovery console I see both "apply sdcard:update.zip" and "Install zip from sdcard" What's the difference?

Thanks....
