Bluetooth stops working after a while

Hi,

I'm using WiiMoteController IME on my Blade/SF to play games using my Wii Controller over Bluetooth.

The Bluetooth connection works fine for a few minutes then stops working, I cannot toggle Bluetooth back on with the widget or through the settings menu. It tries to switch it on but does complete the process, even after repeated tries or a soft reboot. I have to power cycle the phone to be able to switch Bluetooth back on. If somebody lets me know if there's a debug log then I will be happy to post more details. I am using 2.1-update1 (2.6.29 kernel, MoDaCo Custom ROM r4, OUK_P729BV1.0.0.B05)

Is this a known issue with Bluetooth?

Am I posting this in the right forum?

Just an over-educated guess (since no one else has responded) ...

... my guess is that the phone is trying to go into sleep and your Bluetooth Input Method is not anticipating that possibility.

If you try it with the phone on-charge, then it won't go to sleep.

Worth a try.
