Check this link https://github.com/ZTE-BLADE/ZTE-BLADE-2.6.32/wiki, and click on the second link which should take you to the wiki page...

That's just so going to confuse you as it's relating to the Kernel - I'm not sure if that was on purpose or not but I don't think that's what you are after.

Start maybe by reading this

http://forum.androidcentral.com/hacking/60...al-rom-faq.html

Good intro to the terms used, then section 5 starts you off on the basics of building.

Recipie for creating ROM from existing one:

1. Download existing ROM (.zip file).

2. Open .zip file using WinRAR or watever program you are using.

3. Add, delete or edit files inside archive.

4. Install your modified .zip file just like any other ROM.

5. Congratulations, you have created your own ROM.

Here's the first thing you should try:

1. Open ROM (.zip file), go to system folder and then go to app folder.

2. You will see many applications there (.apk files).

3. Delete some applications you don't like.

4. Install your modified ROM (.zip file) into phone and see if applications you have deleted are no longer there.
