Can you actually go on the internet with an SPV?

Hi there, I,ve been looking up some info on the phone and i am still a bit unclear with the whole GPRS thing. Is it possible to browse any website on the SPV or is it just for specialised ones kinda like WAP?

In the words of my Computer Archtechure lecturer "GPRS lets you do the same things as before, only faster, and at much greater cost!"

Basically its like driving your car. You can drive your car down a 1 way street with speed bumps, or you can drive on an autobhan...

The GPRS is just a faster way for your phone to connect to the Internet - be it looking at html pages, wml pages (wap sites), email, ftp, etc...

So in short: yes, you can browse most pages on the internet :D (exept pages with frames... :()
