Guest travisb Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 (edited) Thought I'd do an application backup as I hadn't done one for a while. Entered the name for it, clicked done, and my screen froze (backlight on but did nothing else). Left it plugged in for a couple of hours but nothing happened, so tried entering recovery mode using the method mentioned elsewhere, but no joy. Anyone else got into this hole and escaped? Guest travisb Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 Finally got it back into life: Opened an XP VM on my Mac. Copied the system USB drivers, a cooked ROM, and the Vega Helper app from This thread With the Vega connected via USB (But not connected to either Mac or XP VM) and no charger connected then did the following: Pressed power button for 6 secs to completely shut Vega down With back button held in, plugged in charger When charging light showed and with back button still held in, pressed power button, untill got Windows USB connection sound Checked that NVidia recovery USB host was visible in device manager Reflashed Vega image. Disconnected from XP Reinstalled cooked ROM from kitchen via Mac And breathe :D
