Factory Reset

I've just sold my san fran on ebay, it is running 2.2. I want to wipe all data, settings etc but keep 2.2 on there if i do a factory reset will it keep 2.2 on the phone.

hi mate, basically im getting and sanfransico tomorrow or a ZTE is what u call it or something, im totally new to all this i have never used an anroid i have never used an app in my life so i dont want to do what your guid says untill i understand what it will do to me new phone, obviously i dont want all that orange crap all over it and some ppl are says about installing 2.2 so they dont have the 2.1 or something what is this? im not to bad with computers so if u could tell me where i can download all the stuff i will be able to do it, i may just need help with all the rest as im slow to learn new things (:

Flash whatever ROM you want to sell it with
