Hi I have a nas (an ebay special!) I CAN access it from windows and ubuntu but can not access it from my vega I'm using ghost commander (inc samba plugin)

It asks for

server

path on server

domain

username

password

I have created a user and assigned shared folders so I know the username and password but not sure about the other details required.

The nas reports the following details

Host Name STORAGE

Group Name WORKGROUP

IP Address 192.168.1.3

So I guess the question is what goes where and whats missing?

Any ideas - many thanks

I also have a NAS and the easiest tool for Android has to be file expert as you can search for them and they set themselves up. Easy as that.

All I can say is make sure if you load files to your SD card to get them to show up in the gallery you may find you need to unmount and remount the card to get them to show up as it will cause the system to do a prepare SD.
