Guest extrememonkey Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 Just bought a Vega off ebay and dont know what version of the custom rom is installed. How can I find out???
Guest Touch Graphite Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 This forum contains such a search function for this very problem. 'You can find out what firmware by clicking SETTINGS > ABOUT DEVICE and at the bottom of the screen you will see Kernel Version and hidden in the string returned after the character 'v' is your current version of software.' God bless PHP scripts. Without it, we'd be asking the same old question over and over.

Guest Touch Graphite Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 First upgrade the offical advent firmware from www.adventvega.co.uk Then upgrade your account to buy a customisable add-on, or use the public ones which doesnt contain the performance pack or any of the extra add-ons. Most people consider the upgrade a thank you for the work thats Paul put in to get the official Google market onto our devices, and as a return, apps that open a can of whoop ass.
