Bonjourno all

I've Fruit Ninja on my Streak, as well as on my iPod touch. To my consternation it's completely unplayable on the Streak because once you swipe your finger the scorch marks lag far behind it, whereas on my year old iPod it's instant.

Does anyone/everyone else have this? More importantly, does anyone know what it is and how I might fix it?

I'm on Steve's 1.5.1 running SetCPU @ 245-1190mhz on 'on demand'.

Cheers

Ant

works perfectly fine for me on my 1.5.3...worked fine on 1.5.2 as well as 1.5.1 as well as the official o2...

in fact feels much better to play on the streak thanks to the bigger screen..

u cud try uninstalling setcpu and trying it out...

I have it uninstalled since its been giving me problems such as slowing down games namely fruit ninja..

I just uninstalled SetCPU. The game works, but the pointer should be right under your finger the whole time, not appearing behind it. If you've a friend with an iPod touch or iPhone 3/3GS/4, give it a go on that and you'll see what I mean (or my Streak is borked)

hmmmm...I actually did play fruit ninja on the iphone 4 today....and I found the streak to be better(maybe I am just partial)....

do u mean there is a kind of a lag on ur screen..as in say u slice a fruit with ur finger..and after some time the actual slice happens?

There is noticable lag on the Streak - Fruit Ninja (love the game), but it's MUCH more fluid on the iPhone unfortunately and I don't think there's anything we as consumers can do on our devices to reverse this. Maybe it's something the developer can do? It could just be a Streak thing...

Does anyone knoe how it runs on other Android phones?

Have you tried it on 1.6.0 yet or using different different dpi ?

the frames per second is still kinda capped , so swiping is not going to be perfect till then, i think its now capped at 46fps ( before it was capped at 30) so its a big jump , and ipod is 60fps so theres a bit of a diffrence when it comes to those swipe games, but still playable, if your used to playing games on iphone u will notice a lil bit of a diffrence but not much

It should be capped at 45.. It's a kernel "bug"
