The home button actions work like that using spare parts adding. Just set to home then suspend

Wonder if that's a new kernel fixing the resume function which caused lag on other tablets. We may be able to pinch the boot image.

Are you sure about that? My Spare Parts only allows this for the End button (which the Vega obviously doesn't have), there are no tweaks for any other buttons.

I for one welcome the power button update of this ROM!

I have only had this lag once (on R5) and never since installing R6. How often are you getting it?

P.S. I rarely power off the Vega, it is usally always on with the occasional reboot if required (e.g. for switching USB mode)

yes, the end button option in spare parts is the one to use

Tried it, rebooted, no change for me :D

Which ROM are using, any other tweaks (e.g. remapped HW buttons etc.)?

Honestly I'm not sure if I've seen the lag issue. I do sometimes get problems with dolphin hd slowing down but I don't know if its related. Ive read that there are problems with the when resuming. There's info on the gtab section of xda. And I think I read somewhere that there was an nvidia kernel patch.

With regard to changing the buttons, my power button is mapped to go home on one posh and if pushed on home it suspends which works well for me. This was set in spade parts

That's how mine is too. Short press takes me home, medium press for menu pop up, long press hard off

i'm just running the standard 1.06.5 with Paul's R6 addon and LauncherPro, no tweaks or remapped buttons

[edit] and i've definitely seen the lag issue, although not recently. it happened when the device was in standby for a while. i had to reboot for the tablet to be usable again.
