rings through earpiece not rear speaker

Just some insight... been struggling with a Streak that does not ring (only through earpiece, which you cant hear in your pocket). I reloaded every rom made by DJ_Steve. I thought this to be an issue with some code left behind from not performing factrory reset, so i cleared cache and factory reset. I did not back up apps as i was afraid that somethign was causing issue so fresh install for everything every time. (pain in the @ss and time consuming). Yesterday i did the QDL repair and installed 1.6.0 (awsome rom i might add). No issues...until... I loaded Soundhound. This is the purchased version so i am not sure if the same thing happens with the free version. Everything worked until i put the widget on the desktop. The ringer reverted to the earpiece again. I removed the widget and rebooted. Still had issues intermittantly, so i removed app and rebooted. Everything seems stable.

Not sure if anyone else has had this issue or if it could even be confirmed. Just wanted to put it out there incase anyone else was experiencing issues.

EDIT: Contacted Soundhound and they said they are unaware of any issue but will look into it. It seems that having it installed does not cause the issue but once you use it sound eventually reverts to the earpiece. Only after you reboot is the situation fixed until the net time you use the app.
