Newbie questions regarding O2 settings...

Hi,

First post chaps :D

I have been lurking for a while!

I have the Jellyfish R6 and have put my O2 sim in it - from my Blackberry contract.

When I send a text message it seems to take a long time for it too arrive, maybe 5 mins or more. There is no delay in sending the message.

When I send a text using the BB or another phone, the text arrives virtually instantaneously.

Can anyone shed an light on this?? I have searched and cannot find anything.

I've had my phone a few weeks and unlocked to o2. Had numerous problems with reception, loss of signal, poor signal, texts not going first time, duplicate texts coming/going out etc...???

Update... well i went back to the stock firmware debranded and sms's are still taking an age, say 15 mins to turn up. Any ideas?? This does not happen with using the same sim in my bb.

I have tried two :- Japanese_Jellyfish_R6(2.2) and Sebastian404's de-orangeated-rom - r8 (2.1) lite.

Both of which do the same.

I've been using the Hungarian TPT for 2 weeks, with no ill effects on O2
