911 bug in rogers froyo rom

In my city we've got a non-emergency line, 311, for basically city services and whatnot. Anyways I just *tried* to call it, and the call entry still shows 311 if you view the details, however I was connected to 911 instead. The phone as soon as I hit dial changed the dial screen to red and EMERGENCY CALL. Which makes me think its a bug in the phone rom, not their network that connected me to 911 instead of 311. I'm going to submit a bug report to rogers too, but I don't feel like sitting on hold right now as I'm sick.

Of course this wouldn't be a problem if Acer would just cough up the sources so that we could get a proper custom ROM (eg: Cyanogenmod)

what city? that's a setting in the build.prop I think, might have to give it an edit, basically sets up the emergency numbers for the system to use

persist.ril.ecclist= edit out 311 :D

I'm in Winnipeg. I'll have to edit my build.prop and edit that out, and anything else that might be dangerous to have in there.

ya, 311 actually isn't on that line in the build.prop in mine.

I'm trying to have it confirmed that 311 does to go to 311 in winnipeg not to 911 for some strange reason by tech support
