When setting a pic as my wallpaper why does it always give me the green box to crop a certain bit of the picture, Why cant i have the FULL picture? In Android 2.1 this green box doesn´t came up. I cannot drag the green box from 1 corner to the other it only fits half of the picture for some reason.

click the middle of top/bottom/side of the box (you should get arrows) and slide it to the limit. obviously check if your using scrollable background cos it doesn't use the same resolution for a static background and one that scrolls across multiple home screens.

1) Find resolution (480x800)

2) modify picture to fit the full screen (480x800)

3) gg (480x800)

Wallpapers scroll when you slide home screens. So they actually need to be larger than the screen: 960x800 in fact (double the width).

Have tried that and can still dont get a full size for some reason, so i need an app. Can someone post a good wallpaper set app? The resolution is btw 480*800.

Its 960x800 Not 480*800. The wallpaper's width must be double the screen's resolution.

And make sure you check your preferences on your launcher application to make sure it always that scrolling effect. (for example in Launcher Pro there is an option to enable/disable it)
