Battery Status Unknown

Hi

Over the last few days I've been having some issues with the battery level reading on my phone. Either the status is shown as 100% or unknown regardless of the actual charge (for around 3 charge cycles now). The phone itself appears to be running for the normal length of time before needing a charge. I've been running the A3 2.2 rom on the handset since the device came in mid December.

I have tried going back to pauls Orange B08 dump and the de-oranged 2.1 r8 rom however this has not helped. Each time wiping cache/data via clockwork. I have also tried wiping the battery statistics in clockwork. Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions before I speak to Orange. Is there some part of the phone I am not flashing by applying OUK_P729BV1.0.0B08-update-stock-blade-unsigned?
