Vibration issue

Hello!

I'm a new zte blade owner ;)

I have the TFT version, the phone arrived to me already with a modaco firmware (froyo MCR Alpha3)

I have this problem, on incoming calls or SMS the phone doesn't vibrate....someone can help me? Maybe is an issue of this ROM?

Have you enabled vibration in settings?

Yes! Settings->audio->vibration->always.

When i click on hardware buttons the phone vibrate, then the vibration engine works...

Update:

the phone vibrate when silent mode is off, when silent mode is on the phone doesn't vibrate....

When it's on silent increase the volume once with the volume control buttons on the side of the phone and it will change to silent with vibrate

i'm having this issue too (plus I'm a n00b)

I've currently got my phone (using the keys on the side) set to the vibrate function

It vibrates for calls

But not for texts.... I don't get it.... I just texted myself. It vibrated when I got the message saying "that giff gaff message was free" but not when i received the actual text?!

It even seems to vibrate for Fring messages

but not SMS............ this is quite irritating as the phone is quiet as it is and I never know I'm getting a text

Go to Messaging, enter settings, and there you have a setting to set vibrate for messages.
