Hi I have just bought a ZTE Blade Orange version and am very pleased but am having problems trying to do the following. I have downloaded various apps from various web sites and want to get these on to my phone. I have loaded the USB drivers and when I connect the phone via the data lead supplied with the phone I am able to view the contents of the memory card. What I would like to know is the best and easiest way to get the apps I have on my computer on to my phone. Do I need to create any new folders on the memory card and where does this folder have to be created. Once loaded on to the phone how do I get them to work? Also is there any software for my computer that will allow me to communicate with the phone. I hope I have put this question in the correct group and you will be able to help me as this is all new to me. Thanks

To load apps you won't need any software, just plug in your phone over USB and mount the SD card.

If your apps are .apk files, just copy them to the SD card - for most programs it doesn't matter where you put them, although a few are fussy.

Unplug your phone and use a file browser such as 'ES File Explorer' or Astro (both free on the market) to open the .apk files, and it will open the install.

On the other hand - Just use the Market!

I'm not sure what you mean by software for the computer to communicate with the phone... what do you want it to do?

Oh - and first thing to do is unlock and get off orange! GiffGaff is good (see sig ;))
