I'd like to give feedback on this ROM - it is much better and getting better each time - well done Paul and fair play to ya! ;)

One thing though that I'd like to see in this, originally used Customised BladeVillain ROM (Eclair), there was an option to disable usb charging when plugging in the cable into the handset - any chance of that being put in to the Settings apk? I have *cough* peeked *cough* into the source and find a reference to this property "persist.sys.charging.disable".

This would, IMHO, be a good thing to have, as to not to screw up the battery each time plugging in the USB cable if a need arises to copy files across without charging....

Any idea? For some reason, its dropped on the froyo source :)

Short charging isn't too bad for nowadays li-ion cells if that's what you're after.

Also, I wonder how does Android stop the battery from charging in the first place, because charging is a hardware default in case of this device. Blade doesn't even have to be on to charge the battery. Most cellphones do.

There was a settings in Eclair to disable USB charging when plugging in the cable... on customized bladevillain rom, just would be handy to have....
