Facebook Sync Problem in R7

i see that the R7 Facebook hvn't been fixed for the Facebook Sync Function

and i finally solved by flashing Jellyfish's fix

hope to be a reference for anyone who stuck over it

1. you need to flash the fix in advance

2. and u need to go to the Facebook App main page (not the Friends' News)

3. click menu->settings

4. scroll to the end of the page, u can see Facebook Contact Sync something like that

5. it was "Don't Sync" by default, click and change the option to "Sync All"

6. the first time u change the settings on that page will not be effective, i.e. still show "Don't sync" even u've clicked Sync All already (maybe there's a bug)

7. if the problem in step 6 rose, repeat step 6 once again,

8. and u will finally see the "Don't Sync" to "Sync All"

that's are the steps to get Facebook Sync working for both Jellyfish RLS7 and Paul's R7

Nope, still not working, dont get the option 4 or 5 on your list?

I flashed Jellyfish R7 and their is no change to my Facebook app, done 3 but get no option about syncing...

Please advise

i've tried this for several times already and succeeded

make sure u hv properly flashed the Facebook Sync Fix

and i've compared the options in Menu->Settings in Facebook app,

before flashing fix, no option for Sync

after flashing, [go to "Account & Sync"->"Add Account"->Facebook, and nothings will show up, coz u hvn't enabled the sync in the facebook app itself <-- actually i dun know if this step is critical, but if u failed then gv this step a try]

and switch to the facebook app, go to the menu->Settings page, it shows "Sync" underneath

I dont have the facebook sync fix because I couldnt find it on the jellyfish rls7 thread? and they said they had already put it already on the rom?

do i need to wipe before installing? do i just install normally through clockworkmod like a new rom?

no need to wipe, just like installing themes

Got it working! missed the important point of flashing the facebook syn fix.zip itself lol (thought it was in the r7 update)

Facebook contact synced to mobile contacts ;)
