Guest Touch Graphite Posted January 15, 2011 Report Posted January 15, 2011 (edited) Router............................. Draytek 2820n vega mod status............... R6 with performance pack Connection issues.............. None now, but had to change channel to 11, previously no problems but vega didnt like to be in proximity to AV sender in living room. Encryption........................ WPA-PSK & WPA2-PSK (Running 2 seperate SSIDs, tested on both) Wireless AV senders are a right pain and can't believe how I didn't think of this before. They run on the 2.4Ghz frequency, the same as wireless networks and cause the error that is described above. (You can see the network but not connect to it) I got a maplin mini 2.4Ghz sender and reciever and when my router is on, it creates noise across the screen around 2 second frequency. This also renders my wireless network useless. Its worth borrowing a reciever from someone and cycling through the 4 channels to see if anyone on your street is running a wireless AV system. Then kick down some doors, Dave angel stylee. Edited January 15, 2011 by Touch Graphite
