Guest Ficus Posted January 15, 2011 Report Posted January 15, 2011 (edited) i have an unclocked blade with FLB r6 custom rom. i have some issues, which i don't know if they are bugs related to android, to the rom or being me a noob. - if i have the phone shut down and i receive sms, they will have the timestamp of when i turn on the phone instead of the correct one. this happens both with the android message app and handcent sms. - i have issues updating/installing a bunch of apps. i download one of them, it gets installing and after some time it says [APPNAME] installation unsuccesful. i have enough free space on both phone and sd card, and 3g connection works. if i try to download another random app in the same time, the install can sometimes or fail as well. - the phone "forgets" the root. i use universal android root app, and each time i reboot the phone i need to re-run the root (i have not checked the "soft root" option). - the android gallery needs to reload all pictures each time i reboot, which renders it useless, as i need to wait 1 min just to select one picture down 2 folders. - the bar control app doesn't start automattically. i need to open it manually each time i reboot my phone. - swype keyboard "disappears" after reboot. each time i reboot, i need to open swype installer, enable swype (click on swype tick box) and select it as preferred input method. i did a complete wipe/clear cache after flashing the FLB rom (i was coming from the stock rom). if you could answer also only one of these points, it would help me a lot. thanks. Guest daphne_lucifer Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 up Hi there mate, I had exactly the same issues. Got rid of FLB G2 and went with JJ RLS8. MUCH faster, smoother and rooting / superuser permissions just work.
