Poor signal

I have recently bought a san francisco which has been unlocked and debranded, it is the amoled screen version with 2.1 android......i only get 1 bar showing on my signal strength meter, where as on my old tocca lite it was full in the same place ( my home) is there any way of boosting the signal on these?....i use o2 network.

I have just read that if you totally debrand these ,including wiping the orange web this can cause the poor signal strength?... thanks mark.

De branding / installing custom roms do nothing for the signal I'm afraid ;)

Check if your phone is using 2g or 3g, if you get poor 3g signal then setting your device in "2g only" mode could give better strength.

I ticked the box saying "use only 2G networks" and immediately got another signal bar.....i now have 2. ....Thanks. ;)
