Bluetooth sync problem with MacBook

Stock ROM - MacBook on 10.6.5

Since I've had the OSF I've been fiddling with bluetooth and it seems to work OK with other phones but never worked properly with my MacBook. I've got it paired, but sending/receiving files is really hit and miss (often getting error messages although the files are transferred). Worst of all, isync doesn't work at all - just get the error "isync cannot conect to this device" even though it is stil paired and discoverable.

ANy ideas?

I don't really want to take my mac-hating here but.. It is a mac ;)

Try a 3rd party (Non apple) blue tooth file transfer application on your mac

I had that same problem. Download Bluetooth File Transfer - it's free and does the job fine.

Thanks - will give it a go. Presumably it's not possible to sync calendars and the like?

Sync your Mac calendar and address book with google/gmail.

Then let Google auto-sync with your phone.
