Applications crashing after installing Paul's ROM

Hi,

I've been having a few problems with my phone since I installed the "MoDaCo Custom Rom - r4 OLED (2.1 Eclair)" on my San Francisco.

I didn't 'wipe' my phone before the install, I did it a couple of months after I bought the phone.

The Marketplace doesn't work. I've just tried reinstalling the old 2.1-style market app but it's not made a difference.

I can browse apps and select them for download, but when it's finished downloading and tries to install, the marketplace app crashes and I get taken back to my homescreen.

The same thing happens when I try to view my system memory via the Task Manager app- when I go to the 'Resource' tab, it comes up saying

"The application Task Manager (process zte.com.cn.taskmanager) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

As far as I can work out, everything else is okay, for example all the apps that I had pre-root work fine.

Am I being stupid? Is there a quick fix for this?
