Guest domenico lamberti Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 on quadrant i checked my system info , why do we have a refresh rate of 0.1Hz . and yes i know that quadrant isnt the best way of telling, but im just saying every custrom ROM ive used it says we have 0.1hz, LCD's usually have round 60hz so OLED's should have like what 65Hz ?
Guest targetbsp Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 (edited) Hz basically means per second. So if your display was really 0.1Hz it would be updating once every 10 seconds... ;) So you're right to not be believing quadrant. :) Apparently oled displays are 100,000Hz so the limiting factor is going to be the framerate of the GPU by quite some margin. :D Edited January 17, 2011 by targetbsp
