Anyone know why Facebook (Full Site) crashes Dolphin HD and Stock browser.

Just recently, Facebook (Full Site) crashes Dolphin and Stock browser. Unless recently, it has worked with no problems

Whatever User Agent you use, whatever the browser, when you go to the full site on the Dell Streak (possibly others?) it just closes, once loaded

Anyone know why this has happened, and how to fix?

Thanks

Grizlore can you try uninstalling flash updates and see if it crashes out without the update?

I've been having the same issue. I've just uninstalled flash (no option to uninstall updates), stock browser got stuck in a redirect loop and closed due to too many server redirects, skyfire started to load then crashed as usual.

Fards, I'm assuming your fix requires root access? Any advice for those who aren't rooted? Or is it just me?

uninstalled Flash 10.1... loaded 50% then closed, just like before ;)

rebooted... same :)

Ok. So its not flash.seemed a likely candidate as the timing was the same. Mmmm

Well swapping the skias works.

If you're on stock Rom and dont want to root. Then time to complain to dell.. you can point to them that its an error with libskia. Feel free to link to the working ones.

I wonder why it has only just started? ummmm

so...extract those two files system/lib/ and chmod 644 them

dunno what you mean by "chmod 644 them"

it sets the permissions on them,

if you have root explorer then copy them over with it, then long click each one and set the permissions

rw-r--r-- (i think) the same as the other files in /lib ;)

that's using different libraries to the stock, which explains it ;)
