Pulse won't update to 2.1

Hi All,

I used to use the pulse with FLB 2.1 rom. But after an accident with it I upgraded to the desire.

I have now inherited another Pulse but cannot get the damn thing to update to 2.1 using any of the official roms.

When I update the progress bar loads around halfway and then fails.

I have checked the Pulse guide and there is a link to follow for people with problems updating but it is now dead.

Has anyone else experienced these problems before and found away around them (maybe installing via fastboot?)

Any help would be appreciated.

Try formatting the sd card. I had a similar problem when going from T-mobile UK 2.1->CM6 to T-mobile DE 2.1. Mine was UPDATE FAILED. Formatting the sd card helped

i have similar problems, i cannot flash all roms just the hungarian update and then i can load

a custom rom only if the boot.img is about 2250 k but if the boot.img is about 2400-2500k i have problems.

so i use the flb mod till version 1.2 but the higher versions have a boot.img what is too great and i have problems

if anybody can advise me ,be my guest ;)

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. Somewhere on this forum I think I read that it was hardware malfunction and it's not repairable. I was thinking to go back to the "December update" (android 1.5) and then start all over again, but this time instead of the Hungarian update to use the Tre or the UK one and see what happens.

If you find any solution for this problem please share :)
