Stock ROM comparison (stability, battery life, one click root, keyboard)

I come from the Fido 2.2 stock and trying to find the best ROM for what I need, right now I'm using 4.005.05.AAP.GEN2_A22F (For Liquid E 512MB). And I'm considering:

1. Back to stock Fido ROM

2. 4.504b.00_EMEA-GEN1_05.01.05 (For Liquid E 512MB) which I've heard battery lasts longer!

3. 4.003.14_AAP_FET (For Liquid E 512MB)

My concerns are:

1. z4root doesn't work on the GEN2_A22F

2. Stability, speed and battery life

3. XT9 keyboard for entering traditional Chinese characters

Any experience?

try to use official rom from aqcer not fido and download malez recovery easy install, install it and flash the new speed fix is posted here;)

been using the acer tools 3.1, not ready to use Malez recovery yet.

What is it about the "new speed fix"?

For all your conditions, I suggest flashing a custom ROM. Stock ROMs aren't as optimized as what our devs offer

I would recommend the LCR rom. But for custom rom you will need to flash a bin first.

I thought LCR worked on any Froyo bin.

Just install MalezRecovery ( http://code.google.com/p/acer-liquid-malez-recovery/ ) and do it. You are going to have to follow this guide to install MalezRecovery on your FIDO ROM- http://android.modaco.com/content/acer-liq...z-recovery-fix/ (NEVERMIND, JUST RE-READ YOUR POST AND SAW THAT YOU ARENT ON FIDO BIN. No need for this)
