Glass broke today...

So i finally broke my glass. It might have been a blessing! I bought this engineering dell streak over 6 months ago. When i bought it there were already 2 small cracks on the lcd screen but they were out of the viewable area. Well today it finally shattered when i dropped the streak off the counter (ironically while i was putting on the otterbox defender case!)

Since i am going to open up the unit... I did a bunch of reading about putting in a larger SD card to get more storage space. I was wondering if there is a benefit for me to just install a class 10 SD car inplace of the stock one and just keeping them the same size. what software should i use to make a direct copy from the original SD to the class 10 SD? I am running windows (vista). I do have a linux box here but no card reader for it (laptop has one built in).

If you guys can let me know what you think i should do while i have it open then let me know. I am open to suggestions.
