Guest Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 Thanks to the new ZTE-Blade Recovery Manager by Sebastian404, I have created a way for new users to install ClockworkMod Recovery straight from their phones, without the need for a computer at all. No fastboot, no USB drivers, just you and your phone! Very very simple, no commands or anything, just press a few buttons and that's it!. Root your phone. Again, you can do this straight from your phone.Install ClockworkMod Recovery straight from your phone. Those are only pages 2 and 3 from my guide on "Installing Custom ROMs / Android 2.2 from scratch". Check out the rest of the article, and other articles here: http://orangesanfrancisco.co.uk

Guest Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 I see once again you've decided to rename my files..... is there something wrong with my naming system? Nothing wrong, I just made the file names shorter so the file name does not overflow on the phone’s screen.

Guest James7 Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 Hi, I was having problems installing the drivers from the PC. So was taking your advice, starting with rooting from phone. However, it won't let me download over wi-fi the file from tinyurl.com/rootnow. Says waiting for data connection. Any help appreciated.
Guest benmcd Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Hi, Is this a recommended method in updating my version of clockword mod? I havent updated it since putting the r3 custom modaco 2.1 firmware. I think its 2.0.0.9 or something similar. Have tried to install it, but recovery manager crashes each time I try to launch it. Any advice?
