Guest KenBW2 Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 (edited) I've been using Froyo on the blade and apps seem to get killed off much sooner - by all accounts Froyo has more aggressive memory management than Eclair - and this shows in reality as apps are being killed off with the memory only half full. Performance was never a problem on the stock 2.1 so I don't see why this is necessary. So I'm considering the possibility of going back to a 2.1 ROM, but I really would rather stick with Froyo for its newer features, Google apps etc. Is there any way to stop Froyo being so aggressive? Config files and such? Edited January 18, 2011 by KenBW2

Guest FelixL Posted January 18, 2011 Report Posted January 18, 2011 How about setting the values yourself, with "autokiller" from the Market? I guess you have root, since you are on 2.2...
Guest Rotmann Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 How about not opening the same topic after 10 days and continuing the already opened topic? HINT.
