Handsfree Bluetooth Volume

I already had a Bury Take & Talk System 8 installed in my car and have just bought a universal Bluetooth Cradle for use with the San Fran.

It works well, auto-connecting with the SF and routing the calls through the speakers etc but the volume through the speakers is soooo loud.

Anyone know how I can adjust this? I've tried the regular volume buttoms on the side of the phone as well as looking for any other volume controls in the phone but no joy. Nothing seems to have any effect.
