O2 Mobile broadband.. use of BTopenzone on streak

I bought my streak with a mobile broadband tariff that includes wifi use. Ive never used it but now need it because ive moved and aimwaiting for my broadband to be activated. How do i connect? Nothing ive tried seems to work right.

I also wanted to know tht.....never seemed to know how tht worked...

you need to be near a proper openzone not the crappy btfon ones..

otherwise just connect using the wireless settings, and open the browser

now to find to one of those crappy bt ones to know if it works..;)

Yes but it just brings up a login page and i have no details to enter. The only info i can find says enter the number as a username, but that doesnt work. It wants a password, but nothing i put in works.

Seems this is a problem for a LOT of people ..

You have to have a BT account to use them and you log in with your primary

email address and password.

anyone that asks for a username and password is not a hotspot, it is part of bt's broadband sharing scheme. they decided to use the same name for both. For the o2 hotspots use the locator on the o2 webpage, any hotspot you can use will ask for your mobile number and carrier.

Right, so the free wifi is basically useless. Typical BT crapiness calling them the same thing.

just use your phone number as the login with no password...Dosnt work on FON just BTOpenzone.

Buddy call o2 they gave me a number to text. It basically registered my handset then I simply log in with my mobile number.
