Guest Spectre51 Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 Currently running stock 2.2 318 on my US Unlocked Streak. Once I have flashed StreakMod or Clockwork and flashed the 1.6.0 rom over if I wanted to go back to stock could I just use QDL to get back to stock and would that also restore my recovery back to stock? If it doesn't what do I need to do to get back to a stock recovery. I don't need to flash the baseband to install 1.6.0 do I? I just want to make sure there is a way for me to get back to stock 2.2 318 should I need/want to. Doing a nandroid backup in Streakmod or clockwork would put my phone back to stock (save for the modded recovery correct?)
Guest Edrill Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 You can go back to stock Froyo from StreakDroid anytime. You can either use QDL or flash the stock recovery through fastboot and then update to the stock .pkg file. Nandroid backup will not put your phone back to stock. It'll take a backup of your existing system and save it.

Do you have a link to the stock 318 recovery?
Guest Edrill Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 Take a look at these two threads. Should give you everything you need. http://android.modaco.com/content/dell-str...ing-the-streak/ http://android.modaco.com/content/dell-str...-2-upgrade-pkg/
