Guest amleto Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 how do i stop the small popup message and sound that happens every time after I send a text? "your ballance is £xx.xx" (it's not a sms message)
Guest targetbsp Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 It's your mobile company doing that. I know Giffgaff do it and you can turn it off in your account settings on their website.
Guest ellhead Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 (edited) I was wondering the same thing. I don't know about the op but I'm on O2and they do it. very annoying. It's a little box that comes up after you phone or text anyone. Edited January 20, 2011 by ellhead
Guest targetbsp Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Yeah, giffgaff are on O2 so it makes sense that if they can do it then it's cause O2 do. It's O2 you need to be contacting. ;) Or if you have an online account with them check in there because that;s how giffgaff let you turn it off.

Guest mobile579 Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Phone up o2 customer services and they can disable this/these. I ended up phoning twice as after they turned off "balance notifications" (no more you have £x.xx left messages) there was another that regularly popped up after a call can't remember what this was called.

Yeah, the call notification one, the one that says something like "Congratulations, you have used your phone for X minutes. To get the lowest cost calls use it for X minutes, extra". o2 CS can turn them off, they don't like to, but they can.
Guest amleto Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 thanks guys, call to CS sorted it.
