Hi guys, how do I connect Dell Streak to an ad hoc wifi network? I did some research and looks like I need to root the device and modify wpa_supplicant. Is it true? How do I root it? Thanks.

If you are on Official 1.6 you can find programs in the Market for that.

Once you have rooted the phone go to the http://ninjad.co/blog/how-to-get-ad-hoc-wi...ell-streak.html and that worked for me ;)

Thanks for the reply. Mine is 2.2 unlocked from Dell directly. Will that work?
