Dell Streak Bloatware, What should I remove

I've finally managed to root my phone (had NO idea that I needed to DL the PC suite drivers) and install Titanium Backup.

I'm now finally going to do something I've wanted to do for awhile and delete some of software that came with the 318 2.2 install.

I know a few to get rid of, but are there any others that I should consider trashing? If not trash, what should I freeze. I don't want to F'up and delete something I shouldn't, so any informations would be very helpful. I will note that I'm not worried about OTA updates, considering that fact that I'm more than capable of simply flashing my device.

If a thread had already been made with this information, please provide me a link. However I didn't find much helt when I searched these forums.

Thanks for reading!

Edit: I thought it might be good to be more specific, so I'll list the things I'm interested in uninstalling:

Accu Weather

Assistant Free 1.4

Android Keyboard 2.2

CoPilot

Everything with the word "DELL" attached:

Dell Stage

Dell Stage Widgets

Dell Wecome

Dell Video Stage

I want to uninstall/freeze anything else that might be nothing more than taking up space/cpu.

Should all be fine, I've got rid of most of that stuff.

I'd definitely keep the keyboard there though just in case you need it, I can only picture crashes/FCs if your keyboard replacement breaks. It won't run and doesn't even have an icon in the app drawer any way.

How exactly do you do this?

I've rooted my Streak, but I don't see any mechanism for deleting/uninstalling those applications which were provided with the 2.2 build.

Do I just need to delete the appropriate directories containing these applications from the internal storage (and wouldn't this still leave data in whatever Android uses as its registry equivalent?), or is there something that I have missed?

you could install root explorer, than go to system/app and from there delete stage crap

edit:

or uninstall via titanium backup

You could also use Bloat Freezer... it is in the market and cheaper than Titanium... It allows you to "freeze" any app on the device... the app becomes invisible to the system and the icon gets hidden... the app will not run until you "defrost" it... it is handy for figuring out what you do and do not need...

If you freeze something you need you can just defrost it and you are good to go...

The developer is very helpful and has good customer service...

Check it out....

if you root expl cut n paste to the SD card you can always restore later if you go to far

(worse case phone wont boot into the 'desktop' & you'd have to adb psuh the stuff back - after retrieving it from teh sd card)

or even find the 318 dump (.zip) that Fards posted just b4 xmas & retrieve the std apks from there

(as prev said) otehr thna the KeyB nothing from the OP's list should present any problems

although do make sure you've installed a replacement for stage b4 removing it (adw or what ever your pref is !!)
